Aut2Run for Autism - April 26, 2026
Aut2Run for Autism is an in-person and virtual race at California State University Channel Islands in Camarillo, CA. The 2026 event marks the 14th annual Aut2Run. One hundred percent of proceeds support Autism Society Ventura County to fund education, advocacy, programs, and community inclusion for people on the autism spectrum and their families.
The event offers multiple distances and formats:
- 15K Hero Run - combined 10K and 5K results, finisher medal with superhero cape
- 10K Trail Race - half road, half trail (6.2 miles)
- 5K Run/Walk - 3.1 miles
- 1 Mile Run/Walk - 1 mile
- Fun-K - for children under 12 and adults with special needs; limited to 300
- Virtual Run/Walk - participate from any location; packet mailed week of race
The 10K course includes a strict time limit requiring completion within the published course cutoff; participants who do not meet intermediate cutoffs may be removed from the course and recorded as DNF. Virtual participants are asked to use a GPS device or phone app to track distance and time, and to submit results during the stated submission window. Race packets include bib, t-shirt, and goodie bag; Saturday pickup is recommended to avoid long lines on event day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
