12th Annual Augusta HBCU 5K Run/Walk and Health Fair
The event is the 12th annual Augusta HBCU 5K Run/Walk and Health Fair held at North Augusta Greene Way, Riverview Park in North Augusta, SC on September 19, 2026. The program combines a community road event with an onsite health fair over the course of the day.

The event is organized by The Greater Augusta HBCU Alumni Alliance, a nonprofit formed to promote awareness of Historically Black Colleges and Universities and to encourage college attendance among high school students. The organizer has provided scholarships and educational support in the community, reporting more than $70,000 awarded in scholarships and ongoing efforts such as school supply distributions and annual college fairs.
