ATW Great Yarmouth Seafront Half Marathon, 10k & 5k
The event takes place on 1 March 2026 at Wellesley Recreation Ground in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. It offers multiple race distances along the seafront and is organised by Active Training World.
- Half Marathon - open to entrants aged 17 and over
- 10k - open to entrants aged 15 and over
- 5k - open to entrants aged 11 and over
The Half Marathon and 10k are held on an accurately measured course and all races are run under a full UK Athletics race licence. The event uses chip timing, a well marked route and supportive marshals. Runners pass sea views and live music zones featuring themed decades from the 1970s to the 2000s. Participants receive free event photos and a custom designed medal, and there are finish line snacks and goodies.
The event supports fundraising for Alzheimer’s Research UK, with opportunities to donate and fundraise appearing at checkout. Organiser policies state there are no refunds or transfers to another person, but entries can be transferred to any future ATW event up to 48 hours before the original event date without proof. Ample parking is available in Great Yarmouth, though access to the North Drive car park may be restricted during the race due to road closures.
