Event overview
The ATW Great Yarmouth Seafront races take place on 1 March 2026 at Wellesley Recreation Ground, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. The event includes three distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
The Half Marathon and 10K are on an accurately measured course. All races are held under a full UK Athletics race licence. The event is chip timed.
Race details and logistics
Age limits are set by distance: entrants must be at least 17 for the Half Marathon, 15 for the 10K, and 11 for the 5K. Current advertised price bands are: Half Marathon £29-£31, 10K £25-£27, and 5K £19-£21. Aggregate pricing on the event page shows a range of £21 to £31.
Course features include sea views, live music and themed music zones from the 1970s to 2000s, well marked routes, supportive marshals, free event photos, a custom medal, and finish line snacks. The event partner charity is Alzheimer’s Research UK. ATW allows entry transfers to another ATW event up to 48 hours before the race; refunds and transfers to another person are not offered. Ample parking is available in Great Yarmouth, but access to the North Drive car park may be restricted during the race due to road closures.
