ATW Box End Mixed Team Relay
The event is a team relay triathlon held at Box End Lakes, Bedford. Teams of four each complete a short swim, bike and run leg before handing over to the next athlete. There are three team categories: an Olympic mixed format with two female and two open category athletes, a female team category, and an open team category.
The swim starts as a deep water start in the wakeboarding lake and uses a 350 m lap. The bike leg is a 7.7 km non-drafting circuit that circumnavigates the venue on public roads. The run is a 1 km out and back along the side of the lake, flat and in view of the transition area. The next athlete begins their leg by running into the water.
Entries can be made as a full team or as a single person who will be assigned to a team on the day. Team captains enter teams and may add team member details later; other team members provide personal details at registration or via the organiser’s form. All team members must supply date of birth and Home Nation membership details. Minimum athlete age is 16 on race day. Wetsuit hire is available and there will be food, a bar and camping on site. The organiser offers entry transfers to future ATW events up to 48 hours before the event; refunds are not available. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
