ATW Bedford Half Marathon & 10k
This chip timed event takes place at Russell Park, Bedford, Bedfordshire, MK40 3RH on 21 February 2027. The organiser describes a one lap 10K course that starts and finishes on the Bedford Embankment, runs out towards Town Bridge, follows the River Ouse to Priory Park, completes a lap of Priory Lake and returns to the Embankment.
The Half Marathon follows the same route with a second lap plus a slight extension to make up the accurate 21.1 km distance. The course uses kilometre markers for the 10K and mile markers for the Half Marathon. The entire route is traffic free and is on tarmac or firm paths. Elevation is described as less than 50 m across the 10K and about 100 m across the Half Marathon.
Event features listed by the organiser include warm ups led by personal trainers, a professional commentator at the finish, on course marshals, quality catering for spectators, free event photos, a custom designed medal and finish line snacks and goodies. A free Children’s Fun Run takes place before the main races and does not require prior booking.
