ATW Bedford 10k & Half Marathon
The event is scheduled for 1 November 2026 at Russell Park, Bedford (MK40 3RH). It offers two races along the Bedford Embankment and beside the River Ouse and Priory Lake.
The 10k is a one lap course that starts and finishes on the Embankment, runs toward Town Bridge, follows the River Ouse and includes a lap of Priory Lake. The Half Marathon covers a second lap with a small extension to reach the accurate 21.1 km (13.1 mile) distance. The route uses traffic free tarmac and firm paths, with kilometre markers for the 10k and mile markers for the Half Marathon. Elevation is limited, with under 50 m across the 10k and around 100 m across the Half Marathon.
Race-day services include warm ups led by personal trainers, commentary at the finish, catering for spectators, custom-designed finisher medals, free event photos and finish line snacks and goodies.
A free Family Fun Run takes place prior to the main races. It is open to all ages, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult, it is not chip timed and no results are published; all children receive a medal.
