Atlanta Spartan Trifecta Weekend
The Atlanta Spartan Trifecta Weekend takes place at the Georgia International Horse Park in Conyers, Georgia. This location served as the venue for the equestrian events during the 1996 Olympic Games. Participants navigate a course featuring deep southern woods, rolling hills, and technical terrain consisting of Georgia red clay, mud pits, and water crossings.
The event offers several obstacle course distances:
- Beast: A 21 km course featuring 30 obstacles.
- Super: A 10 km course featuring 25 obstacles.
- Sprint: A 5 km course featuring 20 obstacles.
- Kids Race: Distances ranging from 1 km to 3 km including obstacles.
The routes are designed with natural and man-made elements that require strength and strategy. Those participating in the longer distances pass through the historic Olympic rings located on the property. Spectator passes are also available for those wishing to view the event from the sidelines. The weekend's programming includes a Spartan Trail Race in addition to the traditional obstacle course formats. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
