Course and logistics

The course consists of six loops on the white trails, run counter-clockwise with a descent on Jack's and an ascent using the stairs. The route is all trail and can be technical in places, with roots, rocks and boulders. Poles are allowed. The course will be marked with bright tape and flags. Start and finish are at the Group Shelter.

Parking is available at the Group Shelter lot and adjacent areas; participants should follow signs and volunteer directions. A State Park parking fee is collected on arrival. Packet pickup is handled at the group shelter on race morning.

Food and other details

A FatAss Crockpot Chili Contest supplies post-race food; participants are asked to bring chili in crockpots. The event provides bowls, utensils and some toppings, and participants vote by ballot for their favorite chili. No formal awards are listed for the distance events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
