A.T. Still fit for life Fun Run 5K
The A.T. Still fit for life Fun Run is a 5K walk and run held as part of OMED26 in Las Vegas, Nevada, at Sunset Park on October 24. The event records participation from students and other members of the osteopathic community.
All proceeds from the event go to the Advocates for the American Osteopathic Association Special Projects Grant Fund. Those grants allow osteopathic organizations and affiliates to apply for funding for community projects across the country. The Advocates for the American Osteopathic Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports and promotes the osteopathic profession and is composed of spouses, friends, family of osteopathic physicians, and other supporters.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at several levels and donations may be made personally or on behalf of institutions; sponsorship was extended until September 1. The event partners with the Student Osteopathic Medical Association for the Charity Miles wellness program, with student participation used to launch that program.
