Zombie Run 5K and 1-Mile Walk (October 10, 2026)
The Zombie Run is a Halloween themed 5K run and 1 mile walk presented as part of Henderson’s annual series of 5K events. The event takes place at Wildhorse Golf Course, 2100 W. Warm Springs Rd. It is a chip timed 5K and welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels. Costumes are encouraged; the event description notes that the walking dead return to Henderson for their second feeding, and participants are invited to wear Halloween clothing or undead attire.
Souvenir medals and dry fit t-shirts are guaranteed for the first 300 participants. Registration fees are listed separately for the two distances: the chip timed 5K has tiered pricing ($35 through September 9; $45 September 10 through October 9; $50 day of) and the 1 mile walk has its own tiered pricing ($30 through September 9; $35 September 10 through October 9; $40 day of).
Packet pickup is available at Cornerstone Park near the concessions area, 1600 Wigwam Pkwy, on Thursday, October 8 and Friday, October 9, and at Wildhorse Golf Club on the day of the event.
