The Original Las Vegas Marathon 2027
The Original Las Vegas Marathon takes place in Henderson, Nevada, with the start and finish located at the M Resort on Las Vegas Boulevard. The event features multiple race distances held on an out and back course that utilizes a local bike path. The route offers views of the surrounding area and consists of a mostly flat terrain with some gentle rolling hills.
Participants can choose from four different distances:
- Full Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
The Full Marathon is a Certified Boston Qualifier (Certificate # NV24011MWC). This distance has a generous 7 hour time limit, and an early start option is available for those requiring additional time to complete the course. The event is characterized as walker friendly due to the flat nature of the path and the availability of multiple water stations.
This is a cup-less event to promote environmental sustainability and safety. No disposable cups are provided at water stations; instead, foot-pedal units allow runners to dispense water into their own reusable containers. Participants receive race items including a custom finisher medal, a dry-fit event shirt, and a reusable goody bag. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in each age group across all distances.
