The Original Las Vegas Marathon 2027
The Original Las Vegas Marathon is a road running event held in Henderson, Nevada, with the M Resort listed as the starting venue. The event includes multiple race distances and is certified as a Boston Qualifier, Cert # NV24011MWC.
The course runs along a bike path with scenic views and is described as mostly flat with a few gentle rolling hills. The marathon uses an out and back layout. A marathon early start option is offered; runners who choose it must notify the organizers in advance so their bib can be recorded for official timing and should be prepared to be self-sufficient for the opening portion because not all water stations are set up immediately.
Water stations use a cup-less system for safety and environmental reasons. Stations feature foot pedal dispensers that allow runners to collect water hands free. A reusable cup is available for purchase at packet pickup or check-in.
The event provides awards for top finishers and teams, including top three overall men and women per race, top three in each age group for all distances, and team competition medals.
