The Original Las Vegas Marathon 2027
The Original Las Vegas Marathon takes place in Henderson, Nevada, with the M Resort listed as the starting location. The event offers multiple measured road race distances and is a certified Boston qualifier with certificate number NV24011MWC.
Distances offered:
- Marathon, Certified Boston Qualifier Cert # NV24011MWC
- Half marathon, out and back course
- 10k, road race distance
- 5k, road race distance
The course runs largely along a bike path with notable views and includes a few gentle rolling hills. The full marathon is described as mostly flat and follows an out and back route. An early start option is available for full marathon runners who notify the organizer in advance; early starters should be self-sufficient for water during the first 30 minutes because not all water stations will be set up then.
The event is walker friendly and provides a seven hour time limit for the full marathon. Awards include top three overall male and female for each race, top three in each age group for all distances, and team competition medals for top three teams. Race amenities include packet pickup, event day dry-fit shirts, custom finisher medals, and a reusable goody bag.
This event uses cup-less water stations with hands-free foot pedal dispensers that pour at about 10 oz per second. A reusable cup is available for purchase at packet pickup or race check-in. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
