About the race
The ASH Foundation Run/Walk is a charity running and walking event in New Orleans that offers both in-person and virtual participation. The courses pass along the Riverwalk and through Woldenberg Park. Participants may choose between the following distances:
- 3K
- 5K
Packet pickup for in-person participants takes place in the main concourse of the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, outside Grand Hall AD/BC in the Pre-function area, on these dates and times (Central):
- December 10 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- December 11 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- December 12 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
There is no day-of registration or packet pickup. Participants who preregister on or before 5:00 p.m. Central on Friday, November 6 are guaranteed a commemorative T-shirt and a chip-timed bib in their indicated size; after that date sizes are first-come, first-served.
Entry categories include individual and trainee rates, with registration fees noted in the event information ($75 and $50 depending on category). One hundred percent of the proceeds from all individual and group registration fees and additional individual donations will benefit ASH's Foundation.
In-person entries include commemorative T-shirts (when registered by November 6), commemorative chip-timed bibs (when registered by November 6), and post-race snacks. Virtual entries receive a digital bib to share on social media. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
