Event Overview
The ASH Foundation Run/Walk 5K/3K is a fundraising event taking place from Monday, December 7 to Sunday, December 20, 2026. It offers both in-person and virtual participation options. One hundred percent of the proceeds from registration fees and donations benefit the ASH Foundation.
Distances and Registration
Participants can choose from several event categories:
- Individual 5K In-person - $75
- Trainee 5K In-person - $50
- Individual 3K In-person - $75
- Trainee 3K In-person - $50
- Virtual 5K - $75
- Virtual Trainee 5K - $50
- Virtual 3K - $75
- Virtual Trainee 3K - $50
The in-person events are scheduled for December 13. Some categories are open to participants aged 18 and over. Registration opens on July 7, 2026.
Course and Logistics
The in-person run/walk course goes along the Riverwalk and through Woldenberg Park in the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center area. Packet pickup, which includes a commemorative t-shirt, safety pins, and a chip-timed bib, must be done in advance at the Orange County Convention Center's West building main concourse.
