Mountain Ridge Trail Race
The Mountain Ridge Trail Race is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The event is based at Mountain Ridge Middle School and uses the Douglas County East West Regional Trail. The course consists mainly of dirt and single track with some bike path sections, and the routes feature rolling hills in out and back and Y out and back layouts.
Distances offered
- 21 Mile 21.8 miles; 2,106 ft total elevation gain; 4 aid stations; cupless.
- Half Marathon 13 miles; 1,345 ft total elevation gain; 3 aid stations; cupless.
- 10 KM 6.2 miles; 600 ft total elevation gain; 2 aid stations; cupless.
- 5 KM 3.1 miles; 374 ft total elevation gain; no aid stations.
Additional event details include restrictions and support: pacers are not permitted for any distance and crews are allowed to support runners at the finish line. A designated area for personal drop bags is available at the start finish area. Parking is provided in the school parking lot. Packet pickup is offered at a local running store and at the school on race day. Race shirts are guaranteed for orders placed by March 15. Live split tracking is available during race weekend.
