Art at the Springs 5K Fun Run and Walk
The Art at the Springs 5K Fun Run and Walk is a third annual community running event on September 12, 2026, held in Powder Springs, Georgia at Thurman Springs Park. The event is hosted by South Cobb Arts Alliance, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization made up entirely of volunteers and in operation since 1972. The run is held in conjunction with the Art at the Springs Festival, which begins shortly after the race.
The course is a flat, out-and-back route that begins on Marietta Street, proceeds westward to the Lucille Creek Trail, continues northward, and returns to a finish in Thurman Springs Park. The route includes segments through historic downtown Powder Springs and on the Lucille Creek Trail paved nature path.
The event is a professionally timed 5K. Walkers are welcome. The event proceeds rain or shine and refunds are not offered. All 5K participants receive a high-quality race shirt featuring an original race logo created by an award-winning artist; shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed by August 26.
