Art at the Springs 5K Fun Run and Walk
The Art at the Springs 5K Fun Run and Walk is the third annual 5K hosted by South Cobb Arts Alliance, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization composed entirely of volunteers that has operated since 1972. The event is set for September 12, 2026, in Powder Springs, Georgia, with activities centered at Thurman Springs Park.
The course is a flat, fast out and back route that begins on Marietta Street, proceeds westward to the Lucille Creek Trail, then heads northward and returns to the finish line. The route includes segments through historic downtown Powder Springs and on the paved Lucille Creek Trail nature path. The race will be professionally timed and walkers are welcome. The event is planned as rain or shine.
All 5K participants will receive a comfortable, high quality race shirt featuring an original race logo created by an award winning artist. Shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed by August 26. A community art festival will begin shortly after the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
