Argyle Band on the Run
Argyle Band on the Run is the rescheduled third annual community running event held on June 27, 2026 in Argyle, Texas at 6601 Canyon Falls Drive. All proceeds go to the Argyle Band Boosters and benefit the Argyle band program for grades 6 to 12. The Argyle Band Boosters is a 501(3)(c) non-profit organization that supports the band program.
The event includes multiple course options:
- 10K Argyle Band on the Run 10K
- 5K Argyle Band on the Run 5K
- 1K Argyle Band on the Run FUN RUN 1K
All participants receive a cotton event shirt and a finisher medal. The 5K and 10K are chip timed with the timing chip mounted on the bib; the 1K uses a bib without chip timing. Registration opened on January 7, 2026 and closed on April 1, 2026. Published entry fees are $50 for the 10K, $45 for the 5K, and $25 for the 1K.
Event features listed by the organizer include on-site medical staff and local police presence for health and safety, live music and entertainment, multiple food and product vendors, and raffle entries with one free entry included per race registration. Awards are given in age group categories for the 5K and 10K plus special awards such as Fastest Stroller, Oldest Runner, Youngest Runner, and a 5K Final Finisher Award. The 1K family fun run has age group awards and a Fastest Stroller award. In the event of weather cancellation refunds will not be processed.
