Melon Dash: 10K, 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk : Little Elm, TX
Melon Dash is a Run Project event held at Little Elm Park in Little Elm, Texas on June 20, 2026. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and features new courses for 2026, with interactive maps and downloadable course guides available for racers. The 5K and 10K courses are USATF certified.
Race amenities include participant swag such as a custom short sleeve tech shirt, a finisher’s medal, and a race bib. The event hosts a lakeside after-party with a sponsor village, food and beverage options, and a Watermelon Eating Contest. A VIP Experience is offered that includes premium parking and a 16oz margarita from Margarita Hut; the VIP sale closes on 06.17.26.
Awards are presented to the top finishers, including 1st–3rd overall male and female, 1st overall masters male and female, and top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups. Awards must be claimed in person. Packet pickup is scheduled on several dates and at multiple locations before race day, with on-site packet pickup available at Little Elm Park on race morning.
