Event overview
The Melon Dash is a running event held on June 20, 2026 at Little Elm Park, 136 Lighthouse Beach Dr, Little Elm, TX 75068. The event offers multiple race options, including:

The 5K and 10K courses are new for 2026. The event program includes an awards ceremony, a sponsor village, an after-party with music, a beer garden for attendees 21 and over, and a Watermelon Eating Contest. Race registration includes a short sleeve tech shirt, a custom finisher medal, and a race bib. Virtual registrations receive a tech shirt, finisher medal, and a customizable bib.
Logistics and services
Packet pickup is available on Tuesday, June 16 through Friday, June 19 at local running stores in Fort Worth, Southlake, and Plano, and on race morning at Little Elm Park. Virtual runners can upload results from June 20, 2026 through September 26, 2026; virtual packets are scheduled to ship starting the week of June 22, 2026. Registration pricing varies by event and date; automatic discounts apply for youth (8 and under), seniors (65 and over), and group registrations of four or more. Awards are given to overall and age-group finishers and must be claimed in person. Free parking and bag check are listed as included with registration.
