Melon Dash - Run Project
Melon Dash is a running event in Little Elm, Texas, held on June 20, 2026, at Little Elm Park (136 Lighthouse Beach Dr, Little Elm, TX 75068). The event offers multiple race options and a lakeside post-race area with an awards ceremony and a sponsor village.

The 10K and 5K have new courses for this year. Interactive course maps and downloadable course images are provided. Race swag includes a custom short sleeve tech shirt, a custom finisher’s medal, and a race bib. A virtual race option is also listed.
Event amenities and activities mentioned include a sponsor village with giveaways, watermelon provided at the finish area, an added Watermelon Eating Contest, and beverage service. Awards are given to top finishers: 1st–3rd overall male and female, 1st overall masters male and female, and top three male and female finishers in age groups from 9 and under up through 80+. Awards must be claimed in person.
Packet pickup is scheduled on several prior dates at local running stores and venues in Little Elm, Fort Worth, Southlake, and Plano, with on-site pickup available at Little Elm Park on race day.
