Melon Dash: 10K, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Melon Dash is a summer running event held at Little Elm Park in Little Elm, Texas, along the shore of Lake Lewisville. The event offers multiple distances and lakeside courses with interactive maps and course details.

The 5K and 10K courses are USATF certified. Participants receive event swag including a custom short sleeve tech shirt, a finisher medal, and a race bib. Course maps and elevation details are available through interactive route links and PDF course maps.
On-site amenities and activities include a finish area with music, food, sponsor giveaways, and a watermelon eating contest. Awards are given for 1st to 3rd overall male and female, 1st overall masters male and female, and top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups; awards must be claimed in person. A parking map is provided for attendees, and packet pickup is listed as TBD.
Volunteer roles are available and may include water stations, course direction, and registration support. Race results are published after the event.
