Melon Dash: 10K, 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Melon Dash is a Run Project road race held at Little Elm Park in Little Elm, Texas. The event offers in-person and virtual options and includes multiple course distances and related race services.

New 10K and 5K courses are available and the event provides interactive course maps. The 5K and 10K course maps are listed as USATF certified. An event guide and parking map are published for participants.
After the race there is an awards ceremony and a sponsor village. The event features lakeside post race activities, onsite watermelon, a watermelon eating contest, and beverage offerings. A VIP Experience is offered and includes premium parking and a 16 oz margarita for a stated fee.
Swag for participants includes a custom short sleeve tech shirt, a custom finisher’s medal, and a race bib. Awards are given for overall and age group placements, including 1st through 3rd overall male and female, 1st overall masters male and female, and top three finishers in listed age groups; awards must be claimed in person and will not be mailed.
