Playtri Little Elm Lake Triathlon & Run-Bike-Run
The Playtri Little Elm Lake Triathlon & Run-Bike-Run is scheduled for Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Little Elm Park Beachfront Recreational Park in Little Elm, Texas. The event is USA Triathlon sanctioned and includes on-site lake swims. Water temperature will be measured on race morning and wetsuit rules will follow USA Triathlon guidelines. Bikes must comply with USA Triathlon rules and helmets are required.
Race formats and distances
- Sprint Triathlon: 500 m swim, 16 mile bike, 5K run
- Olympic Triathlon: 1500 m swim, 24 mile bike, 10K run
- Duathlon (Run-Bike-Run): 1 mile run, 16 mile bike, 5K run

Additional information
Entry prices listed for on-site events are $69 for individual Sprint, Olympic, and Duathlon; $39 for relay events; and $49 for the virtual race. Minimum age requirements apply: most events open to ages 13 and up; the Olympic Triathlon and its relay are open to ages 17 and up. Swimmers will start from corrals based on predicted swim time. Bike courses use multiple loops and runs take place on roads and the paved trail system in Little Elm. Packet pickup, gear, and other race-day procedures are provided by the organizer.
