About the race
The ARFS Annual 5K Walk/Run on 11/07/2026 in Young Harris is a running and walking event covering 3.1 Miles. The route begins at Mayor's Park beside the college campus and follows a mix of park trails and campus pathways.
The course winds into Cupid Falls Park, passes a waterfall area and scenic pathways along the creek, and continues past the Young Harris College athletic fields with a mountain backdrop. The route then loops back through campus, passing historic buildings and areas with student presence before the finish at Sharp United Methodist Church. Volunteers will be positioned at the finisher's shoot.
The course includes changes in elevation and varying ground conditions. Because of the terrain and surface conditions, strollers and pets are not permitted in the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
