Event Overview
The Area 51 event takes place on September 20, 2026 in Irving, Texas. It is held at Sam Houston Trail Park. The event features several running distances and a free dash for children.
Event Distances
The event includes the following races:

Registration Details
Registration includes an event-themed t-shirt and a custom finisher medal for the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and 1 Mile events. Participants must register by a specified date to guarantee their t-shirt size. There is also a virtual race option where the shirt and medal are shipped to the participant.
Age group awards are given for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. Awards are presented four places deep in numerous age divisions for males and females. Overall and masters category winners also receive medals. Awards are distributed on-site and are not shipped.
