The Jangover Night Runs take place on Saturday, September 19, 2026, staged out of the Pemberton Trailhead at McDowell Mountain Regional Park near Fountain Hills, Arizona. The event is the final race in the Insomniac Night Trail Run Series and offers multiple night-distance options.
Distances:
- 75K
- 50K
- 25K
- 15K
- 7K
The course uses rolling desert single track and old jeep trail, with the Pemberton Trail Loop forming the basis for the 25K, 50K, and 75K distances. Each 25K loop features about 800 feet of elevation gain and loss; all loops are run in a clockwise direction. The 7K and 15K routes follow the Scenic Trail and include hilly sections.
Support on course includes a fully stocked start/finish aid station and a remote Granite Tank aid station. Aid stations provide water, ice, electrolyte drinks, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, peanut butter and jelly, bean rollups, and hot food options. This is a cupless race; runners should bring a reusable cup or obtain one on site.
Crews are allowed at the start/finish. Pacers are permitted only for the 75K beginning on the third loop. Drop bags are available at the start/finish area. Parking for longer distances is at the Pemberton Trailhead; parking for the shorter distances is at Four Peaks Trailhead with a shuttle running throughout the night. The park charges a vehicle entry fee. Courses are marked with orange ribbons, reflective medallions, laminated signs, and wrong-way flagging. Medical staff are based at the start/finish. Pets are not allowed on course and must be leashed if present at the event. Online registration closes September 14 and entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
