Jangover Night Runs
Jangover Night Runs is a night trail running event on Saturday, September 19, 2026, held at McDowell Mountain Regional Park near Fountain Hills, Arizona. The event is part of the 2026 Insomniac Night Trail Run Series and offers multiple distance options:
- 75K
- 50K
- 25K
- 15K
- 7K
Courses use rolling desert single track and old jeep trail, with the Pemberton Trail Loop forming the basis for the longer distances. The Pemberton loop is run clockwise and each 25K loop includes about 800 feet of elevation gain and loss. There are also hilly options on the Scenic Trail for the shorter distances.
Aid support includes a fully stocked start/finish station and a remote Granite Tank station on the long loop. Typical aid station supplies are water, ice, electrolyte drinks, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, pb&j, bean rollups, and hot food such as quesadillas and grilled cheese. The race is cupless; runners must bring a reusable cup or obtain one onsite.
Crew access is allowed at the start/finish. Pacers are permitted only for the 75K beginning with the third loop. Drop bags are provided at the start/finish area. Parking is organized by distance with shuttle service for some start locations, and the park charges a vehicle entry fee. Live split tracking and chip timing are provided, along with finish line photos and finisher awards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
