Event overview
The Javelina Jangover Night Runs take place Saturday, September 19, 2026, at McDowell Mountain Regional Park near Fountain Hills / Fort McDowell, Arizona. The event is the sixth and final race in the Insomniac Night Trail Run Series. Distances offered are listed below. Each race uses desert single track and sections of old jeep trail based on the Pemberton Trail Loop.

Course and logistics
Course terrain is rolling desert single track with fast smooth sections and some hilly sections. The Pemberton loop features about 800 feet of elevation gain and loss per 25K loop; loops are run clockwise. Aid stations include a fully stocked start/finish aid and a remote Granite Tank aid on the long loop. Aid station supplies include water, ice, electrolyte drinks, salty and sweet snacks, fruit, pb&j, bean rollups, and hot food (quesadillas, grilled cheese). This is a cupless race; participants must bring a reusable cup or purchase one on site.
Crews are allowed at the start/finish area; pacers are permitted only for 75K runners starting with the third loop. Drop bags are available at the start/finish. Parking, shuttle and campground details are provided for participants; the park charges a $7 entry fee per vehicle. Time limits vary by distance.
