Course and logistics
Courses use the Pemberton Trail Loop and the Scenic Trail, featuring rolling desert single track and some old jeep trail. Each 25K loop has about 800 feet of elevation gain and loss. All loop direction is clockwise. Aid stations include a fully stocked start/finish location and a remote Granite Tank aid station with water, electrolyte drinks, snacks, fruit, pb&j, and hot food options. Some distances include an additional water-only aid station. This is a cupless race - participants should bring a reusable cup or purchase one on site.
Crews are allowed at the start/finish. Pacers are permitted only for the 75K beginning on the third loop. Drop bags are available at the start/finish area for easy access. Parking for longer distances is at the Pemberton Trailhead; shorter distances use the Four Peaks Trailhead with a shuttle service. The park charges a vehicle entry fee. MedStar Solutions provides on-site medical support at the start/finish. Volunteers receive race credits and event swag. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
