Event Overview
The APS CTAE 5K is a running and walking event celebrating Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education scholars within Atlanta Public Schools. The event supports APS CTAE student scholarships.
Location and Date
The event takes place in Atlanta, Georgia. The start and meeting point is at the HJ Russell West End Academy, located at 765 Peeples St., SW. It is scheduled for a Saturday in mid-February.
Event Details
The main event is a single 5K run/walk. Registration for the event is $40. The price includes a race bib and a commemorative T-shirt, though T-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after January 31st.
Race day registration is available via QR code on site until shortly before the start. Payment is by credit or debit card only. The event is open to participants of all ages.
A virtual participation option is available for those who cannot attend on the event day. Virtual participants can complete the distance on their own and submit their results.
Participation and Purpose
Participants are encouraged to show spirit by wearing their favorite APS school shirt or school colors. All proceeds from the event benefit APS CTAE student scholarships. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
