Apple Festival 5K - Ellijay, GA
The event takes place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 32 McCutchen St, Ellijay, GA 30540. The race includes these distances and event options:

Base entry fee is $30. Price increases after September 12, 2026. Race day registration is $40 and packet pickup begins earlier on race day. Shirts are guaranteed for those registered by October 2, 2026; later and race-day registrants are not guaranteed a shirt or size.
Course and logistics
The course is a double loop that goes through the downtown area and along Old Hwy 5, with turns onto McCutchen St returning to the finish. After finishing, participants walk a short distance back to the gym to turn in their finish card and await results. There is free parking around Ellijay Elementary School. The Apple Festival occurs immediately after the race, and some roads will be blocked.
Timing, awards and other rules
Timing is provided by BT Race Timing; the race will not be chip timed. Finish cards must be completed with name, age, bib number and gender and turned in at the results boards for posting and award eligibility. Awards include overall male and female, masters, grand masters, and five-year age groups from 10 and under to 80 and over. Virtual runners must submit their time by noon on October 11, 2026; virtual entries do not receive bibs, shirts or awards. The race is part of the Black Bag and Clover Glove race series.
