Course and logistics
The course is a double loop. The route begins with a loop through the downtown area, returns to Old Hwy 5, includes turns onto and off McCutchen St, and finishes on McCutchen St. After finishing, participants walk back to the gym to turn in a finish card and await posted results.
Race timing will be handled by BT Race Timing; the event will not be chip timed. Finish cards must include name, age, bib number and gender and be turned in at the results boards for posting and award eligibility. Awards are given for Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters and Grand Masters, and in five-year age groups from 10 and under through 80 and over. Entry fee is listed as $30, with race day registration noted as $40; the entry fee increases after September 12, 2026. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations by October 2, 2026. Virtual runners must submit their time by noon on October 11, 2026, and do not receive bibs, shirts or awards. Free parking is available around Ellijay Elementary School.
