Anthony Bocchimuzzo 5K Run/Walk
This community run and walk is the 9th annual Anthony Bocchimuzzo Memorial Scholarship Fund 5K, held in Yaphank, New York on October 4, 2026. The event supports the scholarship mission to recognize graduating Longwood High School seniors who reflect qualities associated with Anthony Bocchimuzzo.

Amenities include water, bagels, and fruit. Awards are presented to the top male and female overall and the top three male and female finishers in age groups 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus.
Course logistics note that the start and finish are at Suffolk County Police Headquarters, 30 Yaphank Avenue, Yaphank, NY 11980. Personalized bibs are available for entrants who register three weeks in advance; bib number required for pickup. Live results and same-day finish line photos are provided during the event.
