Anthony Bocchimuzzo 5K Run/Walk - 2026
The Anthony Bocchimuzzo 5K Run/Walk is the 9th annual community memorial event and scholarship fundraiser held in Yaphank, New York. The event supports the Anthony Bocchimuzzo Memorial Scholarship, which recognizes graduating Longwood High School seniors who reflect qualities associated with Anthony.
Participants can choose between the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk, race entry with shirt options available
- Kids Fun Run, untimed and no shirt
The event takes place at the Suffolk County Police Headquarters, 30 Yaphank Avenue, Yaphank, NY 11980. Amenities listed for participants include water, bagels, fruit, and t-shirts to 5K participants who register by August 21. Registration options include a standard 5K entry and a separate kids fun run entry; processing fees apply to online registrations.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in age groups including 12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Bib pickup is available on race day and a personalized bib is guaranteed for those who register at least three weeks in advance. Results and same-day finish line photos are provided online.
