Ansonia Six Hour Trail Run
The Ansonia Six Hour Trail Run is a timed six hour trail event staged from the Ansonia Nature Center in Ansonia, Connecticut. Runners complete counter clockwise loops of about 1.9 miles each on moderately technical singletrack contained within the nature center. Each loop records approximately 170 feet of elevation gain.
The course is described as more runnable than it may appear and takes place in late spring. The field is limited to 69 runners. The event rules specify no crews, no pacers, no bandits, and no refunds, rollovers, deferrals, or credits.
Ragged Cuts provides awards. Participants who sign up by May 29th receive a screen printed shirt and additional swag. Basic amenities on site include clean porta potties. The organizer is Live Loud Running.
