Dare to Go Bare 5K Run and 2K Walk - Lake Como Family Nudist Resort
The 32nd annual Dare to Go Bare event is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, 2026, on the private 200-acre grounds of Lake Como Family Nudist Resort. The event offers a 5K run and a 2K walk; the run course is roughly half pavement and half nature preserve trail, while the walk course is entirely on pavement.
Advance online registration is required and there will be no on-site registration. A DataSource background check is required for all guests; registrants must obtain a Background Check File Number before completing registration. Registration by March 8, 2026 guarantees a run tee shirt. Fee tiers apply: general registration is $40 to March 8 and $50 thereafter to April 8; young adult (age 18–35) and Como member rates are offered with lower fees in the same date windows.
Entry includes use of resort facilities for the remainder of the day, and each runner may bring one non-running guest at no extra charge. Running nude is optional; pool, hot tub, and sauna use require nudity, and nudity is allowed and encouraged throughout the resort grounds. No photography by event participants or guests will be allowed. Names and times will not be published, though finish times can be noted on the race clock. Water, fruit, showers, and some wrist bracelets for carrying keys will be available.
