Annalong Horseshoe
The Annalong Horseshoe is scheduled for Saturday 25th April 2026 in County Down. Distances listed for the event are:

The course climb is listed as 1700 m. Only major junctions are marked on the route. Use of GPS devices is not allowed. The event specifies a Level B standard mandatory kit: waterproof jacket, hat or buff, gloves, whistle, charged mobile phone with the emergency number stored, and a foil blanket, bivvy bag or equivalent. All runners must bring these items. The exact kit to be carried during the race will be finalised on the day and advised at registration. Random kit checks may be carried out; failure to have required items may result in denial of entry or disqualification.
Entry and volunteering
No entry details have been published for this event yet; entries for league events usually open a couple of weeks before the event. Volunteers must have completed two non-running volunteer roles in a calendar year to qualify for the end of year prize. Participants are advised to aim to volunteer at least once for every ten events they run. Volunteering while also running does not count toward the volunteer requirement for end of year prize.
