Anglesey 10K (Jones o Gymru)
The Jones o Gymru Anglesey 10K starts and finishes at the Anglesey Showground in Mona, Ynys Môn. The route uses fully closed roads and is described as a flat and fast 10 km that offers long-range views across the Menai Strait to Eryri (Snowdonia), including the Carneddau and Glyderau peaks.
From the Showground the course heads west on the A5 before turning north onto quiet country lanes. It passes through traditional agricultural landscape, reaches the hamlet of Tynlon and joins the half marathon route. The course moves past Llyn Cefni reservoir and runs over gently undulating terrain back toward the Showground. The finish area includes an event village with music, commentary and food vendors, and the route is fully signed and marshalled.
Event services include chip timing with live results and SMS notifications, drink stations stocked with water and High5 products, secure bag drop, and a locally sourced slate finisher coaster plus a bag of Jones o Gymru crisps and an event memento. Entrants must be at least 15 years old. Prizes are awarded in overall and veteran categories and must be collected on the day. Signs, registration and commentary are available in English and Welsh.
