About the race
The Anglesey 10K takes place on 23 May 2027 around Mona, Ynys Môn with the route starting and finishing at the Anglesey Showground. The course is a fully closed-road 10 km on mostly wide roads and quiet lanes that pass through traditional agricultural landscapes and open countryside.
From the showground the route heads west on the A5 before turning north onto country lanes, passing the hamlet of Tynlon and joining the half marathon route. Runners encounter gently undulating terrain, long-range views of Eryri (Snowdonia) across the Menai Strait, and a section that arcs south toward Llyn Cefni with reservoir and water views before returning to the showground.
Event services include professional chip timing with live results and SMS text results, fully signed and marshalled roads, drink stations offering water and High5 products, secure bag drop, and an event village with music, commentary, food vendors and shopping. Finishers receive a locally sourced slate coaster and a bag of Jones o Gymru crisps; an event memento is provided.
The race is open to participants aged 15 and over. Prizes are awarded on the day in categories including Overall top three, Under 20, Senior, and veteran age groups from V40 to V80. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
