Conwy Half Marathon - Overview

The Conwy Half Marathon takes place on 15 November 2026 in Conwy, Wales. The race starts and finishes on the bridge by the quayside in front of Conwy Castle. Entry is listed at £44 (GBP) and the event is capped at 4,000 entries for 2026. The event is open to entrants aged 17 and over on 15/11/2026. The 2023 edition saw over 3,000 finishers.

Course and race-day information

The route follows the Conwy riverside towards Deganwy, continues along the West Shore into Llandudno, passes Church Walks and Llandudno Pier, then goes around the Great Orme with views of the Isle of Anglesey and Puffin Island before returning to Conwy Quayside. Drink stations are provided at approximately every 3 miles and at the finish. Toilets are located at the start/finish and there are portable toilets near mile 4 and mile 10. First aid cover is provided at the start and finish with mobile medical teams on the course. A baggage station is located on the quayside. All finishers receive a technical T-shirt and a medal. Prizes are awarded for the first three male and female finishers and for age-category winners. The whole route is subject to road closures; marshals will direct crossings and no headphones are permitted. Runners are asked to maintain a pace around 12–15 minutes per mile (approximate half-marathon finish within 3–3.5 hours). Race photos are available from mickhall-photos.com.
