The Anglesey 3 Peaks 55k Run Challenge
The Anglesey 3 Peaks 55k Run Challenge is a guided 55 km route on the Isle of Anglesey that visits three of the island's highest tops. The course combines coastal and inland trails and includes roughly 2000 m of ascent. The route starts and finishes at Lligwy beach.
The day is organised into five sections of approximately 9–15 km each. Checkpoint support is provided at the end of each section, with spare-gear access, first aid provision, and food and drink. Fully qualified guides lead the group and manage navigation.
Moving time is expected to average just under 4 mph, described as a brisk walking pace with rest stops at each checkpoint; participants should expect mixed terrain and changing surfaces. Pace will be set by the run leaders to maintain group progress rather than prioritise speed.
Spaces for the event are limited. On completion, participants receive a wooden medal and a certificate to acknowledge their finish, and the event offers opportunities to meet other participants during the day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
