Angels Against Abuse 5K Walk/Run
The 16th annual Angels Against Abuse 5K Walk/Run is a fundraising event to end domestic violence. It is hosted by and benefits Guardian Angel Community Services Programs, including Groundwork and Suzy's Caring Place. The event takes place on October 3, 2026 in Romeoville, Illinois, at Lewis University-Romeoville Flight Deck in St. Charles Borromeo North Campus. The race is professionally timed by J3 Timing and proceeds benefit families and children impacted by domestic violence.
The event offers an option to walk or run the 5K course. It is pet friendly and stroller friendly. Onsite activities include raffles and prizes, additional fun activities, and refreshments.
Registration opens June 23, 2026. General registration has an early price of $35 through September 18, 2026 and increases to $45 after that date. Student registration is free through September 18, 2026 and increases to $10 after that date. Registration closes on September 19, 2026. Discounts are available for groups and teams.
