Angels 5K - Garland
The Angels 5K is a community run/walk in Garland, Texas on March 7, 2026, held to mark the five-year heavenly anniversary of the organizer's daughter. The event is framed as a time for connection, healing, and honoring memories.
Families and participants of all ages are welcome. The event program includes memorial crafts, kid activities, and photo opportunities. Personalized memorial signs can be purchased for $20; purchased signs will be displayed along the race path and can be picked up after the event.
This is not a chipped timed race. T-shirts are guaranteed for participants who register by February 11. Registration fee structure and windows are as follows: kids early registration $15 (Jan 10 - Feb 11), adults early registration $25 (Jan 8 - Feb 11), kids regular registration $20 (Feb 12 - Mar 7), and adults regular registration $30 (Feb 12 - Mar 7). Packet pick-up dates are listed as March 5 and March 6, with additional race day pick-up available.
The course is planned for the Duck Creek Greenbelt Trail and is subject to change depending on weather. A water station will be available at the halfway point. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
