Event Overview
The Anchorage Salmon Run is a 35th annual running event in Anchorage, Alaska. The event offers several distance options and starts at Inlet View Elementary School.
Course Details
The course begins at the school and follows N Street to the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. The start features a downhill section on N Street, with the remainder of the route being predominantly flat. The run proceeds along Anchorage's oceanfront coastal trail.

Location and Logistics
Bib pick-up on race day occurs between 8:30 and 9:30 AM in the school gymnasium. Parking is available at the Anchorage Lutheran Church parking lot. Access is via West 15th Avenue to O Street and through a back alley, as N Street is closed for the race. The church parking lot is less than a block from the school.
Supporting the Community
The event is a fundraiser for Inlet View Elementary School, one of Anchorage's oldest neighborhood elementary schools. Funds raised support programs such as reading tutoring, supplemental math, after-school Spanish classes, writing workshops, art, music, physical education assemblies, buses for field trips, scholarships, financial meal assistance, and classroom support.
