35th Annual Anchorage Salmon Run - May 2, 2026
The 35th Annual Anchorage Salmon Run is scheduled for May 2, 2026 in Anchorage, Alaska. The event starts at Inlet View Elementary and follows N Street to the Coastal Trail along Anchorage's oceanfront.

The course includes one downhill section near the start on N Street and is generally flat once it reaches the Coastal Trail. Inlet View Elementary is located in downtown Anchorage and is described as one of the city's older, traditional neighborhood elementary schools.
Proceeds from the Salmon Run support programs at Inlet View Elementary, including reading tutoring, supplemental math programs, after-school Spanish classes, writing workshops, art and music assemblies, physical education assemblies, bus transportation for field trips, scholarships, meal assistance, and classroom support.
On race day, bib pickup is held in the school gymnasium from 8:30 to 9:30 am. Parking is available in the Anchorage Lutheran Church lot; the recommended access is via West 15th Avenue to O Street through the back alley. N Street will be closed for the race and the church lot is less than a block from the school. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
