Anchorage RunFest

Anchorage RunFest is a two-day running event held in Anchorage on August 15 and 16, 2026. It is the largest event and the main fundraiser for the Anchorage Running Club, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Proceeds support the free Kids’ 2K, college scholarships for high school runners, and local organizations that promote healthy lifestyles through running and exercise.

The event program includes a range of races and community activities. Distances and event names listed by the organizer include:

• Humpy's Marathon Relay
• Anchorage RunFest Half Marathon
• Anchorage RunFest 5K
• The Anchorage Mile
• Military Mile
• Providence Alaska Children’s Hospital Kids 2K

Race locations are specified for each day. August 15 activities take place at the Delaney Park Strip, 10th and H Street, Anchorage, AK 99501. August 16 activities are based at Humpy’s Great Alaskan Alehouse, 610 W 6th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501. Bib pickup is scheduled for August 14 and August 15 at 1st United Methodist Church, 725 W 9th Ave, Anchorage, AK 99501.
