Anchorage Mayor's Marathon & Half Marathon
The Anchorage Mayor's Marathon and Half-Marathon is an annual running event held in Anchorage, Alaska, during the Summer Solstice. The race is co-hosted by the University of Alaska Anchorage Athletic Department and the Municipality of Anchorage Parks and Recreation Department. The event takes place during a period of approximately 19 hours of daylight, attracting participants from across the United States and various international locations.
The event offers several race distances to accommodate different ages and preferences:

The full marathon course is certified by USA Track and Field and serves as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. The event infrastructure includes aid stations, course markings, and gear drop services. Registered participants have access to an expo for bib pickup, and spectator viewing areas are designated along the routes. Additional amenities for the race weekend include parking and shuttle services, participant tracking, and finish line festivities.
