The course starts and ends in front of Fitness Sports - Ames (410 5th Street) and runs through downtown Ames.

Logistics

Registration fees listed are $35 for the 5K and $10 for the Turkey Tot Trot. The 5K entry fee increases after October 29, 2025, and the Turkey Tot Trot fee increases after November 13, 2025. 5K participants who register by November 14, 2025, are guaranteed a race t-shirt. Participants registered by that date also receive a finisher's medal. Turkey Tot Trot participants receive a coloring book and a race medal. Packet pickup is at Fitness Sports - Ames on Wednesday, November 26 (11:00am - 5:00pm) and Thursday morning (7:30am - 8:45am). The event is supported by the Ames Community Grant Program.
