Gladiator Assault Challenge in Boone, IA
Gladiator Assault Challenge is a two day obstacle course event held May 15 and 16, 2027 at Seven Oaks Recreation, 1086 222nd Drive, Boone, Iowa. The event stages multiple waves of obstacle-course races over both days and offers separate Saturday and Sunday sessions.
Courses include running, climbing, jumping, crawling, balancing and mud obstacles, with both natural and man-made elements. Available race options reported in the program include:
- 5K obstacle course
- 6 Miles Full Gladiator course
Finisher items for participants include a finisher T-shirt, a Gladiator medal, finish line fruit, and one beer for participants 21 and over. For one Saturday Elite division, engraved Gladiator Swords are awarded to first, second and third place finishers in men's and women's divisions.
Registration details listed for the event show registration opening November 1, 2026 and closing January 1, 2027. Published entry fees vary by day and wave: a Saturday elite fee of $69, many Saturday waves at $59, and Sunday waves at $54. Sunday registrations include special pricing and offers such as a $20 price for kids ages 9 to 14, an exclusive Gladiator wristband with Sunday registration only, and a free drink for members of the largest registered group or team.
