American Cancer Society Color Run
The event takes place on September 5, 2026 at Founder's Square, Babcock Ranch, 42850 Crescent Loop, Punta Gorda, FL 33982. Two events are offered and both start and finish in Founder's Square. Strollers and leashed dogs are permitted and must start in the back of the start line. The 5K is professionally chip-timed by Beach Bum Timing. The 1 mile Fun Run/Walk is untimed and begins after the 5K.

Registration opens March 30, 2026 and closes August 12, 2026. Posted registration fees are $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 mile when registered before the event. Race day registration fees are higher: $40 for the 5K and $30 for the 1 mile. Age-based pricing applies: $20 for participants 18 years old and under. Register by August 22, 2026 to guarantee an event shirt; later registrants are not guaranteed shirts and extra shirts will be distributed after the race on a first-come, first-served basis.
Early packet pickup is scheduled for September 4, 2026 at the Babcock Ranch Lifestyle Office, 42891 Lake Babcock Drive, Punta Gorda, FL 33982. Race day packet pickup and registration are available on site.
An in-person awards ceremony will present overall awards and age-category awards; participants receive a finisher medal. Overall and masters category winners are not eligible for age-group awards. Finisher medals and awards will not be shipped.
Water stations are located at the halfway mark and at the finish. Rest rooms are next to the start line. Free parking is available in nearby parking areas. Post-race refreshments will be served. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
