AME Dolphin Dash 5K and Fin's Fun Run
Anna Maria Elementary PTO hosts a community running event at Coquina Beach, Pavilion by the Playground, 2650 Gulf Drive, Bradenton Beach, FL 34217 on October 10, 2026. The event benefits Anna Maria Elementary School PTO and is open to everyone; participation is not limited to AME families.
The program includes an untimed fun run for children on a shaded path that is stroller-friendly, a chip-timed 5K along beach and path sections, and a virtual 5K option for those who cannot attend in person. Registered participants receive a race t-shirt and a finisher medal; organizers guarantee shirts and medals for those who register on or before October 2, 2026. Virtual participants may pick up items in person at AME or request mailing for an additional cost.
Prizes are planned for costume winners and for top finishers in various 5K categories. Children under ten are encouraged to have a registered adult run with them. Registration opens July 31, 2026 and closes October 10, 2026. Organizers also seek sponsors and volunteers for the event.
