AME Dolphin Dash 5K and Fin's Fun Run
The Anna Maria Elementary PTO organizes a beach running event on 10/10/2026 at Coquina Beach, Pavilion by the Playground, 2650 Gulf Drive, Bradenton Beach, FL 34217. Proceeds benefit the Anna Maria Elementary School PTO. The event includes an in person fun run and 5K plus a virtual 5K option.
Distances offered:
- 1.5 km Fin's Fun Run, untimed, stroller friendly
- 5 km Dolphin Dash, chip timed
- 5 km Virtual 5K, untimed
The Fin's Fun Run is held on a shaded path and is intended as a noncompetitive community activity; medals are given to registered finishers and some fun prizes such as best costume awards may be presented. The Dolphin Dash uses chip timing and awards 1st through 3rd place in various categories; each in person participant receives a finisher medal and a t shirt. Virtual participants receive a finisher medal and t shirt, which can be picked up at AME or mailed for an additional fee. Registration opens 07/31/2026 and closes 10/10/2026; published registration fees are $15 for the fun run and $35 for the 5K and virtual 5K. Dogs are not allowed at Coquina Beach.
