Amberly Sugar Rush
The Amberly Sugar Rush is a community run in Cary, North Carolina. The event takes place on October 31 and features several race distances, including in-person and virtual options.

Event Details
The event is hosted annually by the Amberly neighborhood to raise money for a local nonprofit organization, selected by the Amberly Community Service Club. In the current year, the beneficiary is Special Olympics North Carolina. There is a costume contest for Best Costume and Best Family Costume.
Course records are recognized for the 3 Mile and 5 Mile distances, and participants who set a new course record can win a $10 gift code. The event also features a prize drawing: if 500 participants are reached for the in-person or virtual 3 Mile or 5 Mile events, one male and one female participant will win a free year of entry to all races owned by the organizer.
A shirt and finisher's gift are included with registration for the 3 Mile, 5 Mile, and Fun Mile events, guaranteed for those who sign up by October 18. There are also various awards, including overall, age group, and pace-based prizes. Participants can earn rewards by referring friends, forming teams, or fundraising for participating charities.
