Amani Brewing 5K & Beer Mile
The event is the fourth annual Amani Brewing 5K & Beer Mile held at Amani Brewing, 654 Ropp Drive, Martinsburg, WV 25403, USA. It includes multiple race formats and on-site beverage options provided with registration.
Distances include:
- 5K 3.1 miles on a one-mile loop around the farm
- Beer Mile 1 mile with four drink and run cycles
- Beer Mile Relay 1 mile total for teams of two
The 5K course runs on well-maintained grass and gravel along a one-mile farm loop. Tall grass borders guide the route, and organizers describe the footing as steady with no holes reported. The loop includes elevation change and some narrow sections that can affect passing and pacing. The 5K course has been noted for use by CrossFit athletes.
The Beer Mile consists of four cycles of drinking a 12 oz light beer followed by a quarter mile run for a total of one mile and four beers. The Beer Mile Relay has teams of two completing one mile total; each teammate runs two laps and consumes two 12 oz light beers. Team order is flexible provided each person completes two laps and two beers.
Registration opens January 9, 2026 and closes April 14, 2026. Fees are stated per event and registered participants receive a race shirt if registered before the deadline plus one on-tap pour or a non alcoholic beverage. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
