Event details

Amanda's Race 5k is a 5K road race scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Wilson, North Carolina. The event location is 500 Sunset Road, Wilson, NC 27893. This is the 12th annual running of the event and it is held to benefit medical care for an individual. Chip timing is provided by Run The East, LLC. The race will take place rain or shine. Water will be provided on site.

Registration and race rules

Advance registration opens January 3, 2026 at 12:00am EST. Registration cost is $30; day-of registration is $35. T-shirts are included for participants who register by April 11; no extra shirts will be ordered after that date. Race day registration and packet pickup are scheduled from 6:45 to 7:30 AM.

For participant safety, the use of headphones during the race is discouraged. Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, and rollerblades are not permitted on the course. Strollers are permitted but must start at the back of the group. Chip timing will be used for official results. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
