Amanda's Race 5K
Amanda's Race 5K is the 12th annual 5-kilometer running event held in Wilson, North Carolina, at 500 Sunset Road. The event is organized to raise funds to help cover medical care for an individual. Chip timing is provided by Run the East LLC.
Registration opens January 3, 2026 and closes May 15, 2026. The standard registration fee is $30, with a day of registration fee of $35. T-shirts are included for participants who register by April 10, 2026; no additional shirts will be ordered after that date and registration prior to April 10 is required to be guaranteed a shirt. Race day registration and packet pickup will be held from 6:45 to 7:30 AM.
The event proceeds rain or shine. For safety, the use of headphones during the event is discouraged. Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, and rollerblades are not permitted on the course. Strollers are allowed but participants using strollers are asked to begin the event at the back of the group. Water will be provided on site.
