We Are One EHE Prostate Cancer Ride

This cycling event starts and finishes at Thornes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. The event supports the awareness and research efforts of Emmanual Health Education regarding prostate cancer, particularly among African American men in Edgecombe County.

Participants can choose from several supported cycling distances: 20, 40, 60, and 75 miles. The event also includes untimed walking and running options of 1 km and 5 km.

The routes feature fully stocked rest stops with health food and hydrating fluids. The number of stops varies by distance, with two stops for the 20-mile route, four for the 40-mile, and five for the 60- and 75-mile routes. Safety and traffic control along the courses are provided by the Edgecombe County Sheriff's Office, and volunteers with communication radios will be stationed at each rest stop. Directional signage will be in place along the routes.

Registered participants receive route support, cue sheets, a rider's bib, SAG vehicle support, a continental breakfast, and a post-ride meal. Those who register before May 31, 2026, receive a free T-shirt, while supplies last. A packet pickup and meet-and-greet event is scheduled for the Friday before the event in Nashville, North Carolina. An early registration discount is available. Results and start/finish line photos will be available online after the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
