Awards include cash prizes for top male and female overall finishers and age-group awards from 14 & under through 80+. Team awards require a four-person minimum and offer cash prizes for top running club, corporate, and open teams. A post-race gathering is held at the Munjoy Hill Tavern, 189 Congress St; participants under 21 must remain with a parent. The event policy states no refunds; in cases of catastrophic weather or other extreme events the race may be moved to an alternate date or converted to a virtual event.
