Event Overview
The Allen Stone Braveheart Memorial Races take place on a Saturday in July at 31st Street Park in Virginia Beach. The event was first held in 1999 as a run-swim-run race to benefit the American Heart Association. It was later renamed in memory of Allen Stone, a local Navy SEAL who participated in and won his age group in the initial race before passing away in a training accident.
