Arizona AIDS Walk Run & Roll 2026
The Arizona AIDS Walk Run & Roll is an annual community event held at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix. The event focuses on supporting individuals living with HIV, honoring those lost to the disease, and funding statewide testing, prevention, education, and support services through Aunt Rita's Foundation. This inclusive gathering is open to people of all ages and abilities.
The event features a flat and accessible course designed for various modes of participation. Participants can choose between different distances and formats:
- 5K route for runners.
- 2.5K path for walkers and rollers.
The course is equipped with water stations and designated cheer stations to assist participants throughout the activity. The park environment includes a vendor village featuring local businesses and community partners, as well as food trucks and entertainment.
A specific program called Paws for the Cause allows participants to register their dogs to join them on the course. Registered dogs receive specific event merchandise, and the venue provides water stations and treats for canine participants.
Recognition is given to various contributors, including top individual fundraisers, fundraising teams, and youth participants. The event serves as a central point for the community to gather and advocate for HIV awareness and health services across Arizona. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
