Adelphi Panthers for a Cause 5K Run/Walk : October 18, 2026
Adelphi Panthers for a Cause is a community run and walk held at Adelphi University, Nexus Building in Garden City, NY. The event includes multiple distances and a kids fun run. The event will take place rain or shine.

Registration offers standard and student pricing tiers and may include optional donations. Registered participants who sign up at least three weeks before race day can have their name printed on their bib. Fees are non-refundable and entrants must agree to the event terms and release waivers at registration.
Race-day procedures include check-in and bib pickup at the registration table outside the Nexus Building. Participants who do not know their bib number can use a self-lookup area. Jogging strollers are permitted and all participants receive refreshments.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers overall, and there is a TF/XC Panther Parent category for bragging rights. Funds raised will benefit the Nassau Suffolk Autism Society of America, a local nonprofit that provides supported social and recreational activities and resources for individuals with autism and their families on Long Island.
