Adelphi Panthers for a Cause 5K Run/Walk
This event is a community run and walk held at Adelphi University, Nexus Building, One South Ave, Garden City, NY 11530. The program includes short and standard course options and a kids fun run in the Nexus parking lot. The event is presented in a rain or shine format.

Registrants receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal, and all participants are offered refreshments. Jogging strollers are permitted. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and include a TF/XC Panther Parent bragging rights award.
The beneficiary for funds raised is the Nassau Suffolk Autism Society of America, a local nonprofit that supports individuals with autism and their families on Long Island through free social and recreational activities and community resources.
On the day of the races, runners pick up bibs and race materials at the registration table outside the Nexus Building. Early registration can secure a personalized race number if completed several weeks in advance. The event provides live online, email and text results, free video and same-day finish line photos, and additional event photos are shared on social media.
