Event

ACTIVE-X OBSTACLE COURSE RACE powered by AUSactive takes place on 15 January 2026 at Dixon Road Reserve, Dixon Road, Rockingham WA, Australia. The event is presented by AUSactive in collaboration with the Community Bootcamp Project and Red Dust OCR and is supported by the WA Government. Organisers state a goal to engage more than 2,000 participants and families. Many participation waves are listed as free, and a paid "Race for Podium" option is shown at A$53.85.

Course and format

The event is a mass participation obstacle course aimed at families and the local Rockingham community. The course covers 5 km and includes 20 obstacles. Listed obstacles include ninja rigs, net climbs, a 6 m high A-Frame, military walls, crawls, climbs, and carries. Participants start in waves that run every 10 minutes throughout the day. On-site food, drinks, and coffee will be available, and a hub of fitness vendors and local groups will be present to provide resources and information about ongoing activity programs.
