About the race
The Mandurah Triathlon Club Race at Halls Head offers triathlon, duathlon and aquabike events in two distance categories: Enticer and Club Standard. Entry fees vary by membership status: MTC members, Tri WA racing members, and non-members. Online registration is available and entries may also be completed on race day.
Participants should prepare a transition area and may rack bikes once racks are set up; the club aims to allow multiple bikes per rack. Timing chips are issued at registration and are worn on the left ankle for the duration of the event; chips should be returned after crossing the finish line. A pre-race briefing explains the course and any safety requirements, including whether the swim start will be from the beach or deep water.
Course marshals and volunteers provide assistance at key points. Because there are no road closures, competitors must obey Australian road traffic laws while cycling and riding with care. After the final competitor finishes, participants pack up their transition area and equipment; volunteers often assist with dismantling and cleanup.
