Rockingham SuperMix Triathlon
The Rockingham SuperMix Triathlon is part of the Rockingham Triathlon Club summer series and takes place on the Rockingham foreshore with transition at the Alexander Street carpark on Rockingham Beach Road. The event uses a SuperMix format where competitors complete run, bike, swim, bike, run in that order.
The swim is held in shallow, flat water at Rockingham Beach with multi-lap courses marked by buoys and options for short and long distances. Bike laps run up and down Rockingham Beach Road with hairpin turns at each end and multi-lap segments for each bike leg. The run is an out-and-back route along the foreshore footpath with ocean views and natural bush surrounds.
Entry is online only and entries close on Friday 1st January 2027. The event includes a Kids Triathlon with separate information, and offers Duathlon and AquaBike mix options. Race rules follow Triathlon Australia regulations; additional local rules cover helmet use, mount and dismount lines, no drafting, and safety around traffic marshals. There is one aid station on the run providing water and no aid stations on the bike course. A first aid post and a recovery area with water and bananas are provided in the event area. Volunteers organise and run the event.
