About the race
GR Trail is a club series; the number in the event name indicates the round of the series, not a distance. The event combines a GR Trail round with the ACM club road championships and prize giving at the ACM Clubrooms, Sports Bowl, Blair Street, Lansdowne, Masterton.
Entry is open to all, but trophy eligibility requires being a financial ACM member one week before the event. ACM members enter free. Non-member fees are Adult $5 and Under 18 $3. Participants may choose to run a shorter distance than their grade requires but then are not eligible for trophies. Junior runners (under 18) may contend for Club Champion titles based on being first male or female home over 8 km or 10 km respectively, though they will not receive a grade trophy unless they are the only runner in their U18 grade. Attendees are asked to bring something to share for morning tea afterwards.
